About the Awards

These IRP Awards are part of the REC’s Institute of Recruitment Professionals, and are designed to celebrate excellence, best practice and achievement in recruitment.  Unique in drawing attention to the positive impact of professionalism within the industry, the Awards are renown for raising the profile of individuals and companies deserving of acclaim for their aspirational work.

Shortlisted finalists will be announced on 7th September 2012.  Final winners for each category will be revealed during the events ceremony. No information will be available prior to the evening ceremony.

The winner of each category will receive an award and a certificate.  Results will be recorded in a Judges’ Report, and after the event will be announced in post-award publications, on the IRP and REC websites as well as within relevant publications.

The closing date for entries is 30th July 2012 Click here for full details on how to enter.

If you are not already a member of the IRP or REC, further details on how to join can be found online at www.rec-irp.uk.com or by calling 0207 009 2100.

The Judges

The judging panel will consist of representatives from REC and IRP in addition to other respected industry leaders. We will also have an independent Chair who will facilitate the process, but will take no part in the judging.

Method of Judging

The process will be in two parts, with each entry being considered independently and impartially by our panel of judges whose task it is to narrow the applications down to finalists in each category.

  • First stage - initial judging and selection process
  • Second stage - final judging to select the winner in each category

Highly commended awards will be at the judges’ discretion. There will be one winner per category.

The judges will take into consideration the merit of the entries and the extent to which the entries meet the relevant award criteria.

The decision of the judging panel is final. No correspondence will be entered into. The judges reserve the right to move an entry from one category to another.
